Revolutionary New Electronic-Shifting Bicycle Drivetrain Receives Coveted Grand Award

The advanced technological innovation of Shimano’s Dura-Ace 7970 Di2 earned the recognition of the world’s largest science and technology magazine, with Popular Science proclaiming the new electronic shifting components the Grand Award Winner in the Recreation category for the “Best of What’s New 2008.” Dura-Ace Di2 was one of 100 technological innovations included in the December issue of the magazine, but swept the Recreation category to take the top prize as one of only ten Grand Award Winners.

Dura-Ace 7970 Di2 is an electronic shifting option for the 7900 series Dura-Ace component group and integrates seamlessly. Comprised of Dual Control-style combination shift/brake levers, front derailleur, rear derailleur, and a battery pack, the new Dura-Ace Di2 7970 components provide precision shifting performance, an intuitive rider interface, and enhanced ergonomics while adding only 56 grams when compared to the full mechanical counterpart. The components have proven their capabilities in competition by top professional cyclists.

Dura-Ace Di2 will be available in early 2009.

Sunday ride with Desa Alam Team

i have been introduce by bro munir to desa alam team.this team always ride on sunday to Altantuya bombing area near kg. budiman.total distance arround 40km and 60% is off road. usually their are many of them but today only 9 rider joint because most of them going back to hometown (chinese new year holiday). as in a plan,we should ride at 715 am to make sure we are not burn under sun.however a few rider come at 740 am, so start to ride at 800am.lead by bro kahlid wife (ladies first, to make sure they are not away at behind), we goes straight througt palm estate to setia alam-kg budiman-and pit stop warung donut.this take arround 1 1/2 hour because we had beginner rider.after breakfast at warung donut,we ride back to shah alam.time at my watch show 1015 am and the sun is up on my head.luckly i bought oakley sunglasses and wear a long sleve jersey, i can overcome the heat of burning sun..hahaha..with my full energy, maintain my speed arround 24km/h on the offroad and road,i manage to finish the ride at 11am and left other rider..hehehe...i affraid to be burn under sun,that why i left them..arround 1140am,most of the rider arrive at bro khalid house..starting point.

My 1st Jamboree....Jitra

This was my first Jamboree that i have joint. i am very exicited waiting the event day, 18 january 2009...i have plan for this jamboree scene i was known about it..last year.I need to schedule my timetable and arrange my weekend activities. Below is a few picture during the event.Picture was taken during my leg cramp while eating banana..hehehe.

I have change to Bontrager 3X lite corbon handle bar and Venzo short stem...but i want to change to Sunline stem..more cool.for appearance..FOX Flux is my choice..yeehaa..ready to JITRA JAMBOREE 09.

This 2nd kayuhan anggerik was held on 21 disember.It's from dataran Shah Alam to Stadium Melawati. This programe end at stadium melawati with Trial Bike demonstration and Makan-Makan..hahaha..breakfast lor.
